Bio of the chefs
Sara Jacob, a Syrian Christian married to Vinod G Nair, a Hindu Malayalee, is most loved by her friends (including India’s celebrity chefs such as Sanjeev Kapoor and Ranveer Brar) for her exceptional cooking. While many have attempted to replicate her Pulisherri (Dahi Kadhi) or Maanga Ozhichukootaan (Raw Mango Curry), but none have been able to master the exact taste and ‘balance’ of spices, as she calls it. ‘I love to do what I do’…says Sara, uncomplicating her life or as she makes it seem so!
Sara is an accomplished professional with almost 20 years of work experience, mainly in Market Research both Quantitative & Qualitative. She is a certified Counsellor and Psychotherapist.
Vinod, a Mallu bought up in Delhi, has an eclectic influence of two extreme parts of India, apart from the Syrian culture, on his cooking. He makes a mean Mutton Rogan Josh or succulent Butter Chicken, and the most divine Prawn Theeyal!
